Custom LED Blade Sign and Backlit Channel Letters for Storefront Branding

BuoyantSign recently completed a custom illuminated signage project featuring a double-sided oval LED blade sign 

and a set of backlit 3D channel letters. Designed for a commercial storefront renovation, the two signs combine 

street-facing visibility with subtle architectural lighting.

1. Custom Double-Sided Oval LED Blade Sign

The projecting LED blade sign features an oval shape, a matte black metal casing and perimeter halo illumination. 

Its double-sided design allows the brand logo to be seen by pedestrians approaching from either direction.

The sign combines a minimalist appearance with practical features for outdoor commercial applications.

2. Backlit 3D Channel Letters

To complement the blade sign, the project also included backlit 3D channel letters with white painted metal shells 

and rear-mounted LED modules.

Unlike front-lit lettering, backlit channel letters direct light toward the mounting surface, creating a soft halo around each letter. 

This effect adds depth to the signage while maintaining a clean and understated appearance.

For this project, each letter was prepared with individual wiring and lighting components. Font, letter dimensions, 

surface finish and lighting colour can be customised to suit different branding and installation requirements.

The finished letters are suitable for storefront facades, commercial buildings and reception areas where a refined 

illuminated lettering effect is desired.

3. Factory Production and Quality Control

Custom illuminated signage requires attention to both appearance and electrical performance. For this project, 

the production process included artwork confirmation, metal fabrication, LED assembly, lighting tests, 

visual inspection and protective packaging.

Before shipment, both signage products underwent factory inspection and power-on testing to check the lighting operation. 

The finished signs were then prepared for delivery with the relevant mounting accessories.

These checks help identify potential lighting issues before dispatch and support a smoother installation process for overseas buyers.

4. Project Completion

The completed signage package combines two complementary lighting effects: a double-sided oval blade sign 

for projecting brand visibility and backlit 3D channel letters for fascia branding.

Both products passed the factory inspection process and were prepared for shipment. The project illustrates
